Great short hike on the IAT!
Gibraltar Rock is a nice short hike with great views. The hike is almost too short. I like to combine this hike with the IAT segment at Lake Wisconsin or do the hike twice.
Love this hidden ice age trail. Drive past it all the time when we head to devil's lake. It was a nice change and so worth the hike. Highly recommend it if you want a change and easy hike from the normal popular devil's lake trails.
Very nice peaceful place. From the Parking lot, you can either take the Ice Age trail up to the cliffs or the hard paved road. Both ways is about a 20-25 min hike, but the Ice Age Trail is more scenic and not as steep.
A perfect little park with a great (albeit short) section of the Ice Age trail. It's only and out and back trail, but you can do about 1.7 miles from one parking lot to the other (so a short 3.4 miles r/t if you choose). Great, huge pines, lovely cliffs and overlooks with gnarled cedars, pretty prairie and great sunsets. Get here early for a spot to watch the sunset. Great place to just be.
